About TESL

COSS Academy of Training Centre offers a 120-hours plus training program in teaching English as a second language. The TESL program provides a combination of theory and practice that prepares the candidate for the experience of teaching,
It explores and integrates the different skills, methods, and approaches to teach a second language. The TESL program is divided into 5 sections which consist of theory, spoken language teaching, class observation, Teaching Assistant and the actual teaching practicum in a classroom. Upon completing all four parts of the program you will receive an Experienced Teacher Certificate in your first language.

      * Why take the program with COSS Academy of Training?

When looking to take the certificate, one ??????of the most important factors to consider is the accreditation or recognition held by the school or academic centre with regards to the certificate.
Furthermore, COSS Academy of Training requires 40 of practical teaching in order to graduate, which is not included in most other TESL programs. Upon graduation, candidates will be endowed with an Experienced TESL Teaching Certificate.

* What are your job prospects?

COSS Academy of Training does currently offer a job placement service upon graduation; and provides valuable information, resources and assistance with job searching skills. All of our recent graduates have found work in private and professional schools and companies; in international Language Schools across Canada and the USA and overseas in Korea, Japan, and China .
