대만을 포함하여 해외에 출원이 이루어진 건 중에서 대만을 제외한 타국에 출원한 건이 등록결정이 이루어지는 경우 이를 기반으로 하여 대만특허청에 조속심사를 청구하는 경우 빠르게 심사를 청구하여 심사결과를 받을 수 있도록 하는 제도가 2009년 1월 1일 부터 시범적으로 실시 된다고 합니다.
점차 전세계의 국가들이 한국가에서 심사에 대한 결과를 받게 되면 타국에도 심사에 대한 결과를 인정하게 되는 분위기로 바뀌어 가고 있는 것 같습니다.
이런 제도를 활용하게 되면 청구시에 조금 비용은 들겠지만 거절이유 없이 빠르게 심사에 대한 결과를 받게 되는 장점이 있을 듯 합니다.
대만의 경우 본 청구에는 관납 비용이 소요되지 않습니다.

Required Documents
For the purpose of requesting for expedited patent prosecution under this Program, the following documents must be submitted:
(i) A Request Form;
(ii) Documents indicating claims that have allowed and published by a foreign patent authority (accompanying Chinese translation), or a copy of the Notice on Allowance issued by the foreign patent authority and documents proving that the claims as allowed will soon be published by the foreign patent authority (accompanying Chinese translation); excerpt translation may be provided instead if the non-translated portions would not affect the examination by the TIPO;
(iii) A document specifying any differences between the claims as allowed in the Chinese translation mentioned in (ii) and the claims pending before the TIPO, or explaining no difference exists between the two sets of claims.
