저번 일요일에 MBC에서하는 서프라이즈라는 프로에서 스티비 원더의 이야기가 진실 혹은 거짓에 나온것을 보고 스티비 원더의 곡을 하나 포스팅해야겠다는 생각이 들었다. 서프라이즈에서 다룬 스티비 원더 이야기의 개요는 (자신의 딸의 탄생을 기뻐하며 작곡한 "Isn't She Lovely"가 전편에 흐르며) 극심하게 안좋은 상태의 안구로 인해 개안수술을 하여도 15분 정도 딸의 모습을 볼수 밖에 없다는 의사의 진단에도 불구하고 스티비원더는 딸의 얼굴을 한번 보겠다는 일념하에 수술을 감행하지만, 결국 수술은 실패로 돌아가 단 1초도 딸의 얼굴을 볼 수 없었다는 에피소드가 사실이냐 거짓이냐를 판단하는 것이었다. 재연배우의 연기가 휼륭해서인지 몰라도 안구가 뜨거워짐을 억지로 막느라고 혼이 났었다.   아무튼, 사설이 길었는데,  이곡은 피노키오의 모험(The Adventures Of Pinocchio) 사운드 트랙에 수록된 곡으로서 O.S.T.외에 수많은 스티비 원더의 베스트 앨범을 통해서도 만나기 쉬운곡은 아니다.  베스트 앨범중에서도 우리나라에 제고 가 거의 없는 바로 요앨범의 2CD 수입반에만 수록된 상태다. 그래서인지 상대적으로 많은 사람에게 알려지지 못한 그의 멋진 곡이다.
