Set aside what I am not...
What I truly am will come shining through.
Yogash chitta vrittih nirodhah (Yoga Sutra 1.2)
Yoga is nirodha of the thoughts in the mind field.
Nirodha is coordination, control, regulation, integration, mastery, letting go, setting aside...
Tada drashtuh svarupevasthanam (Yoga Sutra 1.3)
Then the seer rests in its own true nature.
The seer is the witness.
The seer is awareness itself.
Drashtuh is of the seer.
Drashtuh is from drish which is to see.
The seer is the self-existent reality of pure consciousness itself.
It was never born and never dies.
It is not subject to pain, decay, or decomposition.
The seer lives in the world,
but is NOT of the world.

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God

OM is the Mystical and Sacred Sanskrit word.
It is the Breath of God,
the first sound of Creation.
'옴'은 신비하고 성스러운 산스크릿트 말이다.
'옴'은 신의 숨이요
창조의 초음[初音]이다.

According to tradition,
everything manifested comes from the primordial vibration,
which is symbolized by OM.
전해지는 바론,
삼라만상의 모든 모습이 바로 이 원음[元音]에서 나왔는데
그 소리가 바로 '옴'으로 상징된다.

OM is the sound of all creation.
It is a prayer unto itself.
'옴'은 모든 창조에 들어 있는 소리다.
'옴'은 스스로를 향한 기도이다.

The past, present and future are all represented in this sound.
It is a timeless mantra.
과거 현재 미래가 모두 이 한 소리로 대변된다.
'옴'은 무시무종의 만트라다.
