호반의 섬 이니스프리



I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
나 이제 일어나 가리라, 이니스프리로 가서는

And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made:
욋가지와 진흙으로 작은 오두막을 지으리라.

Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
아홉 이랑 콩밭 일구며, 꿀벌 통도 하나 두고는

And live alone in the bee-loud glade.
벌 떼 웅성대는 숲 속의 빈터에서 혼자 살리라.　

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
가서 평화를 좀 누리려하네, 평화는 이슬이 나리 듯이,

Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
안개가 드리워진 아침부터 어디선가 귀뚜라미 우는 저녁까지 고이 나리네.

There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
한밤에는 모든 불빛이 가물거리고, 한낮에는 보랏빛 불꽃이 소리 없이 번지는 듯이,

And evening full of the linnet's wings.
해질녘에는 집을 찾는 홍방울새 나래 소리 넘치네.　

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
나 이제 일어나 가리라, 밤에도 낮에도

I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
호숫물이 낮게 철석이는 소리를 듣네.

While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,
나 지금 한 길가 회색빛 포도에 서 있을지라도

I hear it in the deep heart's core.
마음속 깊은 곳에서는 철석이는 소리를 듣네.
