Today was a very special day at Penn State,
known as the Blue & White game.
It is held every year at Beaver stadium to mark the beginning of the next football season.
Because of this week’s Virginia Tech shootings, Penn State students showed their support.
As fellow college students it is very upsetting to see such a tragic event occur.
It makes us realize that something so awful could happen at Penn State too.
We should live each day to the fullest.
By sitting in the designated student section, we were each given
an orange or maroon shirt to represent Virginia Tech's school colors.
We formed a VT symbol.
Can you see me? I circled myself in yellow.
Penn State's school colors are of course, blue and white, so to wear orange and maroon on such an important day really means a lot.
In fact, I waited two hours yesterday to buy a Virgnia Tech t-shirt at the bookstore.
Today...was also very HOT and quite uncomfortable (I’m sunburnt!!)
but I had fun none the less :)
