UPDATE II: Frank got it too...
UPDATE: The Marmot was on this earlier at his place.
I was going to post some of my thoughts on USFK and the recent alcohol related incidents. My main argument was that bringing families to Korea might stem the tide of these unfortunate occurances. But now thanks once again to the actions of the few, many will suffer:
"One of six drunken U.S. teenagers belonging to the U.S. base in Yongsan (in downtown Seoul) threw a bottle from the roadside on Saturday night," the police said.
The police, who questioned three U.S. adolescents at the scene, have asked the U.S. military police to provide the identity of a 13-year old suspected of being responsible for the act.
The incident took place after a spate of alcohol-related crimes by U.S. soldiers stationed in South Korea, Misbehavior by U.S. soldiers in South Korea angers many locals, some of whom call for a withdrawal of the 32,500-strong U.S. presence in the country. |
