The Nomad tells us of the bad stories posted in the Stars and Stripes. Unfortunately, the Korean News is worse:
Sat AM: Drunk Driving in Itaewon. An E-7 is accused of driving drunk at around 3am, hits a taxi and flees the scene. He's found hiding out in an apartment underground parking garage. Courtesy KBS News (Korean Only)
Sat PM: 7 Car Pile up on Banpo Bridge Boulevard: Another E-7 apparantly makes an illegal turn and causes a seven car pile-up that injures seven people. He claims he's not at fault.
Sun PM: Sisa Magazine 2580's Story on Prostitution and Human Trafficing in Osan: they end an expose by saying if GEN LaPorte says "zero tolerance" on Prostitution and Human Trafficing, then he should enforce it in a place like Osan.

Sometimes I wish they would revoke E7 and below driving privileges. Every day, I think I'm playing bumper cars with them as they cut me off and play "chicken" trying to squeeze into traffic. One hooptie-driver opened her door full-force into the side of my car in the commissary parking lot; I almost hung her from the nearest lightpost.

Sounds like you'd like to go back to the bad old "good old days...." BTW the urban legend is that a senior ranking officer's wife was the one who complained about the "steam and cream" service in the early 80s and had them shut down....
