Dear Mom, Dad, Tom & Cynthia
I am safe and doing well in Peru so far. God has been showing us some amazing things
about His characters and how much He loves the people here. We just came back from
amazing days of ministry in the mountains of Cusco and surrounding villages. The hearts
of the people are so open and receptive to the Gospel. We would do presentations with
body worship, skits, testimonies and gospel message in the central plazas, market places,
schools sharing with young children to the elders. After each presentation here would be an overwhelming response by the people where 30~40 people would want to accept Christ
into theirs lives. We know that it’s not by anything we are doing, but it’s only by the
power of God and the work He has been doing in the hearts of his people already. People
here are hungry for Jesus and want to live for something greater in their lives. God is
really starting to give me a burden for the lost and showing me how much He loves this
world. I wish you could be here seeing how powerfully God is moving. It’s such a privilege to be here and thank you so much for your prayers and your loves showing to me. I have not gotten sick yet as many of the team members have been having bad stomach problems.
Right now we are in Lima, but tomorrow we will be flying out to the jungle. We will spend
the next 3 weeks or so in the jungle ministering to people in different tribe villages along
the rivers. This will be tough physically as it will be hot, a lot of mosquitoes, and the food we will eat will be a lot harder. Please, continue to pray for protection and may God will
continue to give me a greater hearts for his people. There is definitely a spiritual battle
going here for people’s hearts. There have been many times were right in the middle of
the Gospel presentation there was been a distraction whether it be a drunk man or a
protest going on outside the market. I just wanted to share some of the blessings God has
poured upon me. I just wanted to say that I miss all of you, love you, and hope that when I
come back you weren’t be able to recognize me because of how much God will change and
transform me in the weeks to come. God bless.
In Christ & love,
Timo
Note: We did not go to Machu Picchu.
