단순히 사진을 찍는 사람들의 모임은 아니다. 사진에 찍히는 것만 좋아하는
사람들도 있다. 혹은 보는 것만 즐기거나...
과내 사진 학술 동아리인 focus는, 2000년 '사진'이라는 단어만으로도 즐거워지는 사람들이 모여서 첫걸음을 뗐다. 그 후 지금까지 매 학기 꾸준한 전시회와 이벤트 등을 통해 사람들에게 알려지고 있다. 최근에는 디지털 이미지와 동영상 등, 다양한 방법에서의 접근을 꾀하고 있다. 다분히 주관적인 작품 사진들 이외에도, 과의 특성을 살려 제품 촬영 등에 대해서도 연구를 하고 있다. 그리고, 학과내 주요행사때의 사진을 담당하고 있다. 사진이라는 매개체가 주는 감정은 단순한 사실의 기록매체 라는 것에서 오는 것은 아닐 것이다. 우리는 있는그대로를 표현하기도 하지만, 이미지에 감정이나 철학을 담고자 한다.

Cinegoers란, 말 그대로 '영화보러 가는 아이들' 이라는 뜻이다. I.D.E안에 있는
작은 모임으로 영화를 좋아하고, 영화에 관심이 특히 많은 우리들로 이루어져 있다
매주 모여 영화를 선정하고, 영화를 감상하고, 그 영화에 대해 느낀 그대로 이야기해
볼 수 있는 그런 편안한 모임이다. 씨네고어즈가 주로 보는 영화는 흥행위주
할리우드식 영화보다는 이런 영화도 있구나 하는 생각이 들 수 있는 그런 영화를
주로 보려고 한다. 좋은 영화, 나쁜 영화 구분 없이 모든 영화를 느껴보는 것이
우리들의 생각이다. 자율성이 강한 우리, 어쩔 땐 너무 자유로운 것이 아닌가 하는
생각이 들지만, 우린 좋아하는 것을 한다.

캐만들기
캐릭터를 디자인하는 모임, 캐만들기는 99년 하반기 발족하여, 꾸준한 모임과 개성있는 활동으로 유명한 학술회 이다. 아직은 전시회로 밖에 우리들을 보여줄 수 없지만, on-line과 off-line을 연계한 재미난 작업을 구상중이며, 캐만들기를 IDE내의 일순위 학술회로 인정받기 위해 열심히 뛰고 있다. 수는 적지만 한번 캐만들기 가족이 되면 오래오래 가기 때문에 더욱 가족적인 분위기인 캐만들기. 그런 캐만들기에게 탄생 2년만에 드디어 기쁜 소식이 생겼다. 바로 캐만들기의 캐릭터인 '테르' 의 탄생. 테르는 2000년 2번째 전시회에서 '차라테르'라는 이름으로 시나리오만을 선보였던 것을, 지난 2001년 5월 3일 3회 전시회에 '테르'라는 이름으로 사람들에게 공개했다.
