For those who attended yesterday's K gathering, 유선생님 has corrected my message left at her Hompy (http://cyworld.nate.com/ysunflower).
Have a good read and learn at my expense !
>유선생님, 안녕하세요? >어제 모임에 모두 12분인이 모이는데. 12 people attended yesterday's gathering. ---> 모두 12분이 모였는데, > >우리 많이 이야기했어요. ---> 우리는 이야기를 많이 했어요. 한식을 먹기전에 이야기, 먹으면서도 이야기, 먹기후에 --> 먹은 후에도 더 이야기했어요! We talked a lot. We talked before dinner, while eating and talked even more after dinner. > >요민의 누구 친구는 --> 요민의 친구 한 분이 저한테 12띠 좀 가르쳐 주셨는데. 한국의 12 띠와 (*그에 대응하는) 중국12띠 피고가(비교가) 재미있네요! >One of Yo Min's friends taught me the 12 horoscopes in Korean. It was most interesting those with the Chinese equivalent. > >저는 첫번째(*처음으로,for the first time) Win2Korea책을 봤는데. 내용이 아주 좋아요. >Yo Min showed me one of your publications and the content was really useful and good. > >모임은 끝나전에 (*끝나기 전에) 우라(*우리는) 서로 이메일 주소와 전화번호를 교환하는데(* 교환했는데). 아마 앞으로 빨리 또 만날 거에요. >We exchanged email address and telephone numbers and will probably meet again soon. > >유선생님도 모임은 다니셔서(* 참석할 수 있었으면...하고) 바랍니다. Wished you were there with us too !

I posted a message at someone's blog and his visitor made a correction as follows :
{제 한국어 아직 잘 못했는데 ---> 저는 아직 한국어 잘 못하지만 ( Make correction like this, and you sure are told your Korean is nice! )}
But I find his suggested sentence on the right kind of strange.

제 한국어 아직 잘 못했는데 is an English style of sentence structure. compared with his corrected native Korean sentence structure. So your Korean is not that bad as a foreigner. At least, you can communicate with Koreans in Korean.

잘 못했는데 << past tense, 잘 못 하는데 and 잘 못 하지만 is almost the same... but i think the feeling is a bit diffferent.

Grammar Tip >> ~기를 바라다 , wish for something. 다니다, go to and fro, it is like a common process such as 학원을 다니다. 참석할 수 있다 is able to join or participate, that is in Hanja, very easy to guess the meaning.

요민씨, 많이 참석해주셔서 고마워요.
My Korean is too limited for me to sense the different feelings conveyed by rearranging the sentence structure.
Also, my Chinese is quite rotten, so I didn't managed to guess 참석할 수 있다 is able to join or participate, if you hadn't pointed it out to me.
Are you sure you can learn anything from my Korean writing ? If learn 'salah' (Malay word for 'wrong'), then how ?

요민씨, where in the world is the link between 락요민 and Ranjit ?
Yes, 유선생님 is so patient and kind. Now I know why I am not a teacher.
If you feel that you are hitting a plateau, why not learn from a new book or other sources. Also, think about taking the Korean Language Proficiency Test.
