I've dedicated a Word Game to Nepali even before knowing that he would be the one leaving the most number of messages at my blog as at six months from 개설일.
By now, Esther has taken over Nepali's top spot but Esther has no need for word games in English or Korean and I've already promised her a treat when I'm next in HK.
So now I turn to MSHyun, who admits to being lazy but seems eager to play word games. This makes me think we are just like kids, who need motivation to study and learn spelling, etc.
MSHyun is an ET (I will not reveal what ET means ㅋㅋㅋ) in Korea, so her English is already of a certain standard, which makes it much easier to play this Thesaurus themed word game.
I will provide a word and you can play by posting another word of similar meaning. You can also post the equivalent Korean word. If possible, give an example of how that word is used in a sentence.
For those of us using the English version of Microsoft Word, we can easily obtain a list of similar words. Can I ask whether there is such a function for the Korean version of Microsoft Word ?
I will try to introduce words that you may frequently come across in the newspapers.
Let's play.
