Bibimbap means cooked rice mixed with various ingredients, including vegetables. Bibimbap is served often with fried egg and fried beef in a Dolsot (hot stone or clay pot), in this case you’d better mix immediately. Bibimbap is one of the 3 representative food of the Joseon Dynasty, along with Pyongyang Naengmyeon (cold noodles in a beef broth; Korean likes to try Naengmyeon in winter even though it is very cold) and Kaeseong Tangban (cooked rice mixed with hot soup). It is not too much to say that the taste of Bibimbap depends on red pepper paste (Gochujang). Look ! Doesn’t it look like really ~ really tasty ? When you try Bibimbap , you’ll find the real taste of Korean food, Gochujang (red pepper paste). And I suggest you to mix properly.
