MAX/MSP는 어떤 프로그램인가?

Max/MSP는 음악, 오디오, 멀티 미디어를 위한 그래픽화된 프로그램이다.
원하는 어떤 형태의 음악, 멀티미디어 기능을 패치설계를 통하여 소프트웨어적으로 실현할 수 있다.
프로그램을 잘 익히면 다양한 형태의 하드웨어기능을  소프트웨어로 직접 프로그램 할 수 있다.
1986년 IRCAM(Institute de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique)에서 개발되어 현재 Cycling74라는 회사에서 판매하고 있으며 많은 연주자, 작곡가, 아티스트, 교육자, 학생들이 사용해오고 있다.
Jitter와 연계시키면 영상을 음악과 통합하여 컨트롤 할 수 있다.
