2대대6중대는 캐손산악지역과 가깝고,최전방지역이라 남부vietnam군대에서 유일하게 105mm 1개소대 RF포병부대와 같이 근무한 전술기지임.105mm 2개 곡사포가 설치되어,캐손산악지역이나,작전중의 부대 엄호사격및 지원사격이 종종 실시되곤 하였음.
