BTW, today while flipping through the channels,
I happene upon the first episode of Dae Jang Geum being shown on Dubai TV (16:30 local time) with an Arabic dub.
I was pleasantly surprised.

대장금을 정말 재미있게 보고 있어요. 지금 25회를 보고 있죠.
그런데, 채널을 돌리다가 두바이 TV (오후 4시 30분 방영) 에서 대장금 아랍어 더빙판 첫 회를 보게 되었어요.
정말 기뻤어요.

I was born in Seoul, Korea to a Korean mother and American Indian father who served in the US Air Force in Korea.
Although I was born in Korea, I have not been there since I was a very young girl.
I have lived in America for most of my life and because of this,
I have had very little connection to my mother’s Korean family, culture and language.
I have been overjoyed to find this show and am very sad to hear that it will no longer be in production.
Watching you and the others on Dae Jang Geum has meant so much to me
because it instills in me, so much pride in being of Korean ancestry.
It also serves to remind me of the strength, beauty and history of Korean people, particularly it’s remarkable women.

한국에서 태어나긴 했지만, 제가 아주 어린 소녀였을 때 이후로 한국에 가본 적이 없었죠.
저는 일생의 대부분을 미국에서 보냈기 때문에 한국 외가 친척들, 한국 문화와 언어에 대해
매우 작은 연결 고리만을 가지고 있었어요.
전 대장금을 보게 되어 정말 기뻤고, 후속편 제작이 없다는 소식에 매우 슬펐죠.

왜냐하면 대장금은 제가 한국계라는 것에 대하여 많은 자부심을 심어 줬거든요.

i have a lot in common with jang geum and i will so miss her character.
whoever wrote dae jang geum is a real genius but lee is an even more genius for executing it so well.
but i guess it was team work that went in the production so big ups to the entire crew. i hope to work with lee and li one day.

The cantonese dubbing of Dae Jang Geum in the TVB version is excellent. It is close to perfecting.
The dubbing people actually sound like the real voice of the actors in Dae Jang Geum.
I am very, very impressed. Yes, I am abosolutely enthralled by this Koren series.
It is my very first time to watch a Korean series and I am glad I did.
I cannot wait for the next one - if it both has Sir Min and Dai Jang Geum, it would like a gift from heaven.

TVB 광둥어 더빙 버전 대장금은 정말 훌륭해요. 거의 완벽에 가깝죠.
성우들은 대장금 출연 배우들의 실제 목소리처럼 연기했어요.
저는 정말 정말 감동받았죠. 맞아요. 저는 대장금에 완전히 사로잡혔어요.
대장금은 처음으로 본 한국 드라마였고, 드라마를 보면서 기뻤어요.
다음 시즌에도 민종사관과 장금이가 나온다면 그 때까지 기다릴 수 없을 것 같아요.

Dae Janggeum is very popular here in the Philippines because of its unique and interesting story
along with excellent and beautiful casts led by Yang Mi-Kyeong and Ms. Lee Young-Ae.
So far it is the only drama series i fully admired.
I have seen this 70 long episodes twice already but i still intend to watch it many times more.
How i wish Lee young-Ae and the rest of the cast could also visit the Philippines. I am a big fan !!!

안녕하세요 전 중국계 호주인이에요 ! 전 대장금을 좋아해요 하지만 20회 쯤 되서야 대장금에 빠져버렸죠.
제 친구는 대장금을 예전에 본 적이 있다면서 정말 훌륭한 드라마라고 말했지만, 저는 믿지 않았어요.
이제야 대장금을 정말 좋아하는 저를 보고 친구는 저를 놀린답니다.
어쨌든 저는 한국어로 방송되는 대장금을 보고 싶어요. 영애 씨의 목소리가 어떤지 듣고 싶거든요.
하지만 슬프게도 제가 아는 유일한 한국어는 '변비' 예요. 제 한국 친구를 탓해 주세요..
전 광둥어 더빙판 보는 것도 좋아해요 ! 저와 제 가족을은 매일 밤 모두 모여 앉아 대장금을 보고 있죠.
제가 가장 어리기 때문에, 전화가 오면 제가 가서 받아야 해요. 정말 불공평해요..
영애 씨는 정말 훌륭한 배우예요 !!! 참.. 저는 12살이에요.. 거의 13살이죠..

The cast was wonderful, the beauty of Korea is simply stunning. For me it is a peek at a culture & time in history

대장금을 통해서 우연히 한국 TV를 처음 접하게 됐고,
지금은 미국 드라마보다 한국 드라마를 좋아하기 때문에 한국 드라마를 주로 보고 있어요.
배역들은 훌륭했고, 한국의 아름다움에 놀랄 뿐이었죠.

하지만 우리 모두는 대장금을 재미있게 봤죠.
영어 자막이 나오는 DVD 나 VCD 가 있었다면 더 좋았을텐데요. 가엾은 친구가 우리에게 영어로 해석을 해 줬죠.

Jang Geum would also go back to Palace as a Chief Chef to correct d record for her mum.
In my opinion, the director been off the track, he might thought the death of lady Han will earn the emotion of audience !!

as well as all the comedies movie !! The standard of story line of HK movies are poor as well.
They should have learned by watching the drama of Dae Jang Geum deeply and repeatly.

I’m a huge fan of Ms Yang from Canada
(They only started broadcasting DJG the end of July and showing only 2 episodes in each week).
I couldn’t wait so I bought the whole series. Anyway, I think she did an excellent job in all the episodes.
Although I haven’t watched the part where she’ll die but I truly think that she could’ve stay until the end of the series.
And I agree with all those fans out there who thinks she’s one of the best Korean actresses.

What a great movie series. I seldom watched Korean series, so I don’t know much about Korean film stars.
However, when I first watched DaeJanggeum, I feel that this is the movie that everybody have to watch.
The series is quite inspire several people who are especially living in very hard situation.
The whole family of mine, including my 2 sons (ages 10 and 11) love to watch Daejanggeum.
It is a real popular movie series here in Thailand.

Here in the US (SF Bay area) DJG is being aired for the 3rd time and fast approaching the last episode #54.
After having watched this show numerous times, I still enjoy watching it all over again.

There appears to be something special about this show that is so different and special that it is unlike any other shows.

Initially started watching this show thinking that it is simply a show about palace maids.
I could not have been more wrong.
It is a show about life, values, courage, perseverance, love, respect, morals, and so much more.

I have truely come to respect those people who work so hard to create this drama DJG.
DJG is perhaps one the finest display of art of making a drama. From script writer, director, musicians, actors..
I could go on and on. All of you guys, you did hell of a job… a job well done !

처음 대장금을 보기 시작했을 때 궁녀에 관한 단순한 드라마라고 생각했어요.
제가 완전히 틀렸어요. 대장금은 인생, 가치, 용기, 인내, 사랑, 존경, 도덕, 그리고 그 이상의 것들에 관한 드라마였어요.
대장금을 만들기 위해 열심히 노력했던 분들에게 진심으로 경의를 표합니다.
대장금은 아마도 드라마 제작 기술의 훌륭한 표본일 거예요.
작가에서부터, 감독, 음악가, 배우 등등.. 계속해서 나열할 수 있죠.

i even stay in the hospital overtime just to catch this.
i remember the other nurses bugging me to let them borrow my dae jang geum dvd.

I first watched it on singapore tv and i was so surprised to see it on nigeria’s AIT television.
Everything about the movie, the characters is well put together and it deserves a golden globe award.
Please u guys should do a tour or something.
